Okay, Okay, Okay, so maybe I was a little ambitious with
thinking I could produce a monthly newsletter. Going
forward I will be more realistic and try to put out a quarterly
newsletter. Hey! Look at the bright side, this will be the least
annoying newsletter you’ve ever signed up for.
As promised, in the December newsletter, we have a new
product, and new feminine fragrances! WOOT! WOOT!
In our Queen Bee line, we have added two new fragrances in
solid perfume; Bombshell and Grace. Bombshell is similar to
Victoria’s Secret Bombshell fragrance and Grace is similar to
Amazing Grace by Philosophy.
Our brand new product is Solid Lotion. Solid lotion is quickly
becoming a go-to way to hydrate skin because of a number of
key benefits over liquid lotion. The following are benefits of
solid lotion that you can experience:

Pinpoint dry skin, eczema, rashes, or other skin issues.

You get more lotion per ounce because solid lotion contains less water (liquid lotion is on average 50% water)

Easily stows and mobile

Travels easily (won’t leak and spill) and it isn’t subject to the TSA liquid restrictions
To apply, you roll out just a little less than you think you will need and apply to your skin. Rub the solid lotion on the desired dry skin, eczema spots, or other skin area that needs hydration. Imagine applying it like you apply a deodorant or lip balm. Cover the dry area in circular motions to make sure it is properly hydrated.
The most used places for lotion bars include knuckles, palms, heels, elbows, knees, facial areas, and any areas that have eczema or that are dry.
Solid lotion can also help heal cracked skin or sunburns. The natural ingredients help the skin in many ways. So, use on any skin ailment.
Rub the solid lotion into the skin if desired after applying. The solid lotion on top of the skin will naturally soak in if you have warm skin. If your skin is cold, then rubbing it in will help hydrate faster. It is not necessary to rub it in beyond the application, but it can help the moisture soak in quicker. I have found the best way to apply solid lotion is right after a shower, when your skin is still damp and your body is warm.
Rubbing the lotion in will get it on your palms (which is great), but that is a great benefit of solid lotion - you can pinpoint dry skin without getting greasy lotion hands.
Replace cap and store.
The lotion is small enough to fit in gym bags, briefcases, purses, pockets, glove boxes, carry-on bags, and other places you would need to stow lotion. Consider the heat when storing in some areas, the product will melt if it gets too hot. If this should happen, just pop it in the refrigerator and let it re-solidify.

Solid Lotion can also be purchased as Bee Bites, which are different size bee shapes that come in a 4oz glass jar. Convenient for quick, one time application. We are obsessed with how cute and adorable these are. Unfortunately this product is only available for local shipment, until I figure out how to ship them without them melting.

New Labels Means Big Savings

The Celtic Bee is rebranding all our labels. Thanks to all the reviews from great customers we have identified some minor issues with our current labels. Some are losing their “sticky”, and many labels are losing the ink.
So, we returned to the drawing board and added some color and weatherproof label material. The result is an eye-catching label that has tested well in the pockets and purses of our “Beta Bee Testers” (More on how you can become a “Beta Bee Tester” in next month's newsletter).
